Symptoms Of Excessive Sweating
Everyone sweats; it’s a natural function of everyday life. You sweat when you are nervous, exercising, or under large amounts of stress. You may find that you are sweating quite a bit when you are getting ready to go out on a blind date, or waiting for a promising job interview.
You may even find that just going from a cool dry room to the heat of summer outside will cause you to instantly sweat. These are all natural ways of your body regulating its own temperature to help you stay healthy, but there is another kind of sweating called hyperhidrosis.

Symptoms of Excessive Sweating
Hyperhidrosis is the over production of sweat from the sweat glands. This usually occurs on the face, chest, underarms, crotch, and palms of the hands and soles of the feet and is a clinical issue.
If you find that you are sweating for no reason, while sitting in a room with no physical activity then you probably have hyperhidrosis. There are a few other symptoms that you should look for to make sure that you do have this medical issue, though.
If you find that you have skin discoloration in any of the areas mentioned, it is a very good sign of hyperhidrosis. The skin will usually start to turn a reddish pink color, almost like the beginnings of a rash. This is due to the sweat glands in that area becoming over active. You might also find that the skin in the affected area has become scaly or showing signs of cracking. This is due to the skin itself becoming dehydrated with the loss of sweat.
While these symptoms are all associated with other medical conditions as well as with hyperhidrosis, you should consult your physician to make sure. You might find that you suffer from bouts of anxiety when in a social situation as well because you are subconsciously aware of your sweating condition. But there are cures.
